I guess u can get anothr bf, but u have to face ur ex sooner or later. Once u start to face him it will make it a lot easier. What u have to do is try to be big about it and not allow it to show that it bothers u, he too may feel uneasy when he see u so now it's time to test ur self to see how u can handle this,
Just face it head on by acting like its nothing to see him, smile, say hi ask how ya doing?
Then go hang out with ur friend, keep ur self busy with othr things when ur around him, if he has a new gf either smile and ignore it or leave until u can handle it,
But u should talk with ur friend and tell her that the reason u been avioding her is because ur dealing with the break up and ur not ready to face it just yet. She's ur friend she'll understand.

Let your friend know how you feel. Tell her you are not ready to come to her house. I am not certain that I would let you spend the night at your friends house knowing that you were in a relationship with her brother. Did his parents know you guys dated. Send time with your friend at your house. Why would you post a pic asking how you look to others it shouldnt matter how others think you look. Self esteem goes a long way. I am guess that you want other to boost your ego and say your not ugly. A unattractive person wouldnt want to drawn attention to the fact.
