Achondroplasia is the first thing that comes to my mind.

What did your doctor say??? He's the one with all of the info, and the only one who can make a diagnosis.

15 weeks is way too young to be worrying about fetal anomalies like that. get a repeat ultrasound in a month and it'll probably be OK. i went through the same thing with my daughter- the fetus looked like a turtle! it freaked us out for about a month and then when we got the repeat U/S everything was fine. our daughter is 3 y.o. now and she's just as normal as can be- and quite adorable as well, if i may say so myself. also, sometimes people are off a little on the dates and that supposedly 15 week fetus is in actuality just an 11 week fetus.

genetic problems can probably be the reason as well as any drugs taken by the mother when she was pregnant or before she knew she was pregnant..

um.....drugs and other toxins taken by the mother????
smoking, drinking etc
