we have a puppy (vet is guessing about 4 to 5 months old) we found on the roadside. No one has claimed her so we are taking the plunge and keeping her. We are going to take all the good suggestions, put them in a hat and pick a name. She is white with 'lemon' markings - maybe part pointer.

What is the name of the road you found her near? Maybe you could incorporate that into her name.

It depends on what kind of name you are looking for. If you want a cutsie name go with soemthing like Beamer, Snickers, Cupcake, Pumkin, or Maggie. If she's part pointer, she probably has a hunting instinct in her. If that's the case, you may want to go with some thing like Remington (Remi), Bailey, Kobe, Gunner, or Anne. Hope it helps, good luck with her.

Type dog names in a search and many sites will come up with 1000's of names. Then once you find a few you like put them in the hat and pull out your new dog's name.

some names are Chloe, Bella, Lucky, Jasmine, you could also name your puppy based on its characteristics or what she does, i had a cat named muffin, we named it that because he curled up and looked like a mini muffin when he was a kitten. Good luck.

It needs to be something short and easy to say so your dog doesnt get confused...if you are going to name her something long think of nick names. Like pumpernickle you could call her nikki for short
