Lots of women nowadays seem to be proud of the fact that they can't cook at all and have to eat out or have their husbands or boyfriends cook. What's up with that?
Why would they wear their inadequacy as a badge of honor? The women's movement ended a LONG , LONG time ago.

I can cook. I cook all the time. Just ask my boyfriend, he was as skinny as a rail when we first met, but now he's a healthy guy with a big belly.

I think part of the problem is that we don't have time to cook always, many of us work full time jobs, find time to work out, spend time with kids, friends, husbands. Also the only time you take home ecc class is in junior high were you learn how to make, i dunno... toast. Otherwise it is an elective, and it just isn't a priorty unless you plan to make it a career.

mabye you should progress out of the 1950s. the women's moveement didn't end- it's still going. clearly we have a very long way to go. women are not required to be their husbands personal chefs. learn to cook yourself!

The women's movement is alive and well, but that has nothing to do with it. Today's women have more important things to do than cook. If you want a meal, make it your goddamn self.
