Do not listen to the other messages, allergies are not something that you are stuck with! Not by a long shot!! Taking bee pollen or honey does help but it will not do the job fully and it might make you allergic once upon first taking it. There is a way that sooo many people do not know about. Your question should not be, how can i get over my allergies? It should be more like Why do I have allergies and other people do not? It takes a lot of searching to find the answer to that and patience. Are you allergies asthmatic? Good Luck to you! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
I will give you a hint. Think about you blood, could there be something there that is causing you to have a reaction to certain substances? Remember the fact that you are reacting shows you that your immune system is still doing its job of protecting you, the only problem is that it no longer knows what to protect you from because of something you have done to yourself. So when these non dangerous pollens come around it is like the straw that broke the camels back. Your spilling over! Take care my friend.

It depends on what you are allergic to.
If it's seasonal pollens and molds, they can give you a series of shots to desensitize you, but without the shots there is no cure.
You can block the amount of cells that create the problems- mast cells. You can take a mast cell inhibitor like Cromolyn, but you have to start one month BEFORE the substance you are allergic to appears. If you don't, it just does not work.
Then your options are controlling the symptoms of the allergies. You CAN block the histamines by taking histamine blockers like loratidine (claritin) and diphenhydramine (makes you sleepy), but the prescription drugs work better than the over the counter products because they are the proper therapeutic doses.
What did the doc give you before? Can you call and ask for a refill? Do you need to be seen? Is there a sliding-fee clinic in your area that you can access?
You need to be in charge of your own health- and I agree, it is very hard when you pay out of pocket. But there are other resources. Get educated. And then use the options available to you.
Good luck!

It sounds like seasonal allergies- pesky things at best.
Unfortunately, allergies are one of those things you're stuck with. Fortunately, there are things you can do about this one.
1) Get an air cleaner for your home, and perhaps your car.
2)Use a damp cloth to dust: That will trap the allergens rather than kick them back into the air.
3) Vacuum frequently.
4)If you haven't already, eliminate the carpet and use area rugs. Allergens tend to hide in carpet.
5) Wash your bedding frequently, if you don't already. That will get the dander and dust mites out of your bed.
Good luck!

Find a local bee keeper. Seriously. Take a tablespoon of honey every day. In time your body becomes immune to the pollens from your local areas. This has to be unfiltered local honey, not store bought! Good luck! This will even help asthma! BTW, it takes a bout a month for this to start to work

Eat locally made honey. The honey will have the same pollens that are common in your area and your body will slowly build immunity to them.
