I used Proactiv, and to tell you the truth, my experience was not very good at all. I used it for about a year with very little result.
I got really tired of messing with creams and cleansers, so I decided to take Accutane. It truly worked for me, but you should understand the risks involved with this medication. If your willing to use it, you´ll more than likely be acne-free after four to six months of use. Not having acne anymore changed my life and gave me more self confidence. Good luck with all of your decisions and hopefully you´ll be acne free soon!!!

Well I think there are certain pills to take for acne, for example, I THINK erythromycin helps it. You can probably get this prescribed from your doctor. About the scars, have you tried the product Bio Oil? That was made specifically for scars and stretch marks etc. But most scars become less noticeable over time, so if you can make the acne go away, hopefully the scars will improve themselves.

Try Proactiv, it really works. If you cannot afford Proactiv then Meijers sells an off brand called Clear Effects it is about $13.00 but lasts 1-2 months. It is a 3 step system that works really well. I used to not leave my house without some type of coverup due to acne and scars, but now I rarely ever get a pimple.

see a dermatologist
they can give you prescription creams (like Retin-A) which work WONDERS, trust me. Also, if your acne is as bad as you say, they can also put you on meds (pills) to take that will help to clear up your face.
Really, the only way to get rid of scarring would be laser resurfacing or dermabrasion later.....but you can't do much without clearing up the acne first.

You must take care of your skin because MANAGEMENT OF ACNE NOT BY TREATMENT BUT ALSO BY PROPHYLAXIS
1-wash your face by water+soap daily(to keep your face not grassy)
2-Put iodine(Betadine) on the acne for longer time
3-If you want antibiotic-> you can use Oxytetracycline(Teramycin)
4-For scars-> DON'T PLAY WITH WOUNDS WHICH CAME FROM ACNE AND DON'T REMOVE ANY BROWN OR RED
MATERIAL AFTER WOUND TILL IT FALL DOWN BY ITSELF
***NO NO NO NO OILY PRODUCTS FOR YOUR FACE , IT WILL INCREASE IT BECAUSE OIL IS THE FOOD FOR THESE BACTERIA TO BREAK IT AND PRODUCE AN IRRITANT ACIDIC SUBSTANCE SUCH AS PROPIONIC ACID

Try toothpaste over night for the pimple shrink. For Clear Skin, try a sugar scrub to gently exfoliate and unclog your pores. Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3 tbsp. milk until they form a paste. Rub the mixture gently on your face for 1 minute. Rinse well with warm water.

Nu Skin has a product that will help with your breakouts and will not dry your skin out at all. It is very effective on blackheads, red skin, and there aren’t any shiny effects.
It's awesome! I am on hormone pills, so my skin changes all the time and I still never have a problem.
