Ok, so ive been going with this guy for awhile, and he is really struggling and tryint to win my trust,but something keeps telling me not to trust him because i think all guys are the same, but he seems different than the rest of the guys ive been with. so do u think i should give him a little bit of trust???

Only you can decide for yourself if he is trustworthy or not. However, how will you ever know unless you trust him. The mental block that is in your mind needs to be moved or else no matter how great this guy actually is, you'll always feel like he is doing you wrong. Let's say that there is this guy that you really like but he feels the way you feel about men towards women. But in your heart you know that you would never hurt him. What would you want him to do? I know that it is going to be hard but that's why you take it one step at a time. Trust him with something small first and then upgrade as you see fit. Love and relationship are like life, how do you know what will work if you never try or how do you know what it feels like to walk if you don't wanna take the risk of falling down. However, as I said before, at the end of the day only you can decide what is right for you. So, take a step back from the mirror and examine your own situation as if it were someone elses. Then listen to your heart but do not disregard your mind.

Yes. Life is about taking risks. If you can't try and trust then all your relationships will be doomed.......Because trust is one of the key elements in making a strong relationship and in order for it to work out....You need to take your past experiences and learn from them in a positive manner. Try not to absorb the negative aspect of what had happened in the past by saying I am not ever going to trust again because all guys and people are not the same.....Take the Rik and give him a chance you will never know if you don't....Instead of saying you can't trust say I just need to be a little more cautious but I will give him the benefit of the doubt.........

Trust is a very important thing. You mustn't give out your trust too easily. It depends on how long the two of you have been together as well as the type of person he is. If your womanly instincts tell you not to give trust then you shouldn't. BUT there's a reason you should give your trust to him so why keep him around...

If you don't trust him, you don't trust him. Is it just him you don't trust, or is it because you've been hurt before and don't want to risk getting hurt again. He can't promise not to hurt you because he may, whether he means to or not. The worst thing that could happen would be that you trust him, he hurts you, and you become stronger once you get over the hurt. That doesn't sound so bad after all!

You can't really go into a relationship with any preconceived notions, give the guy a shot...innocent untill proven guilty remember. Show him a little trust it will show him what a great person you are.

Im a guy and can tell you all guys are NOT the same. I used to think all girls are the same! Trust me there are good and bad on both genders. //Ask yourself what is it that you dont trust about him? Pinpoint it and then ask him about "it" whatever "it" is. Watch his reaction to see if he is lying to you. Yes you CAN tell if somebody is lying. A helpful link about that is below:

trust isn't given it's earned. you've got to realize that you can't punish him for what someone else did. if he is really the one he'll be patient and give you time to work out the issues you're struggling with

mmm i think you echo the sentiments of a number of ladies --- im sorry you need to make yourself vulnerable to experience the true depth of love ---- and that means trusting him --- i am in the same boat with my lady --- she has been hurt very badly in the past and i trust her with my life --- now i need to prove to her that she can trust me because i would never betray her

give him some but not all because if you give him and and it doesnt work youll be hurt and if you give him a little and it doesnt work out you wont be that hurt if it does work out maybe give him a little more trust!!
