hahaha, a school dance? you're allowed to grind at a school dance? hahahaha. um...well I have only ever enjoyed a grind on a club dancefloor, which generally involved alcohol...my hands were on his back, & his butt...BUT, not sure how appropriate that would be in your situation. Grinding is the same as dry humping..haha...goodluck ;)
