Not just the view from one specific Muslim or Hindu, but the view on cloning of the religion as a whole.

The Quran forbids cloning (In Islam) as it is we are God's creations and to make another supposedly on "Our own" would be an insult and a Sin considering that God has created us, and making another false being is how we thank him.

I'm not sure on Hindu's, but I'm pretty sure since so far scientists have figured out how to clone inside animals - They would forbid it considering it might have something to do with harming/mistreating animals (Most Hindu's are strick vegetarians).

All followers of Hinduism do not accept only one unique religion as the owner and master of God, or the Truth. On the contrary, they understand that we all exist on different levels of evolution and distinct levels of development in our path towards the realization of the Absolute Truth. Therefore, Hinduism as a religion accepts, tolerates and respects with comprehension every belief, faith or religion and expects the same or a similar attitude from other religions towards itself. The Rig Veda expresses our attitude towards other religions by saying: "Aa no bhadrah kratavo yantu vishwatah".. Which means, "Allow any noble idea to come to us from whatever direction"... This phrase contains the true attitude of Sanatana-dharma and of the truly religious man. Every follower of Hinduism respects equally all saints and prophets from every religion.

The cloning of either should be approached with extreme caution.

Personally I think that we have enough of each already.
