Nope, there's a good song that answers your question. The lyrics go, "Roll it up, smoke it up" and I say, pass the blunt. Smoking pot every now and then is cool, just not everday.

Keeping secrets from each other is an indication that you will not or cannot trust each other. It certainly is an indication that there is a problem (trust and communication) in the relationship. Withholding information regarding a person's violation of the law is especially concerning. It indicates that the person cannot be trusted and is unwilling to share that information with you.
It would indicate to me that the person is untrustworthy. Seek communications counseling with the person and in so doing you will suggest that you can give them another chance.. If that is rejected or refused, that should be a signal to you that the person is unwilling to change.

Absolutely, if he has lied to you for the past year about the pot thing doesn't it make you wonder what else he's been lying about over the past year??

If u r against drugs then yeah, this is sumthing for u to decide, he lied to u for a whole year and its pretty serious, if he lied bout that what else is he/could he lie about?

If you dont like it, maybe he didnt tell you because he likes you alot, and didnt want you to reject him for what he does. Look at it this way, at least he respected you enough to keep it away from you. Dont jump 2 conclusions about this. My girlfriend doesnt know that I smoke, I just dont smoke around her.
