Are you a freshman in highschool or an 8th gradeer. I'm also going off the assumption that your a guy. In my state qualifing for the state meet you had to run 11.8 Winning time last year was 11.02. our current state record is a 10.69. When I was running I ran an 11.6. But those are all high school times. You really shouldn't compare yourself to other people though. A better thing to do would be to set goals and try to achieve them. Try runing a sub 12.5 this year. Maybe a 12.0 the next. By the time your a senior you could have a goal in the upper to mid 11's. Be realistic, and set goals that are really acheivable.

its possible to run 13 when you're 14. asdfghjklll1456 is just not right. I'm 14 and i can run 14 and 13's in a workout that is a 100 meter sprint x 10 repeats with like 1 min rest. its not that hard. if i would run it i think i can bust a 11-12.

My are legit, and I'm not lying. These are my times as a 9th Grade. In August 2014 I'll be a sophomore. I'll have better times as a sophomore though.

First off the kid who is 14yo and reckons they run the 100m in 9.98 needs to get a life, or at least a stopwatch that works.
Anyway, I am 17yo & run the 100m in 11.6 - could clip about 0.5 from that atm with the way I'm running. 13.2 is good for 14yo - I ran 12.8 (consistent 13.2) when I was 14yo and have improved well so you should too with the right mindset

If you are male, find a really big, steep hill (like maybe the dry side of a pond dam) and sprint to the top as many times as you can. Just keep doing that, and you will eventually get faster. This was Walter Payton's secret. If you are a girl, forget the advise as girls should not do this or stairs until they are out of their teens....your knees aren't worth it (multiple studies have shown this as well as my sister was a sprinter and needed knee surgery in 10th grade).

I'm 17, I don't know what my 100m is but i can do a 55m in 9 seconds flat. I would gues it would be somewhere around 14 - 16 seconds. Pretty slow if you ask me, but I'm a distance sprinter. 1000M is my favorite race - 3:40

First of all 100 meters is not very far at all. I am going to try out for track soon but don't have very much experience. I hope I can be that fast. I would time myself but I am waiting for my foot to recover from an injury. Good Luck on your running!
