Chrissy:

It's one of two things. Either he thinks you're playing "hard to get", or He knows you don't like him, but thinks if he's persistent, he may win you over.

Either way, you need to tell this guy where to get off. He's not going to leave you alone unless you tell him that there is "no way in hell" you'd ever go out with him. If that doesn't work, do the same, but very vocally and emotionally in public in witness of his peers. He'll be too embarrassed to bother you after that.

If he still doesn't leave you alone, go get a restraining order, cuz this guy is obviously mental and won't be told otherwise.

Uhh....

I can't understand what your wrote...so are you saying that you DO NOT LIKE him, yet he continues to pursue you (which is what I'm assuming you wrote).

If this is the case, why don't you just tell the guy, "Listen, I'm not playing hard to get, I just don't like you in that way. I'm sorry, but you really need to stop pursuing me, and move on." Sometimes guys can be pretty thick about these things, and putting in very clear terms will, hopefully, set this guy straight.

Good luck with that.

I personally have a 3 strikes and your out rule, just like in baseball. A girl can be legitimately busy twice, but if she turns you down a third time, give up. You just seem like a pathetic stalker after that.

well, sometimes people need to just be forward with people and let them know they are not interested. It doesn't mean you have to be rude or mean about it to get it across.Just be straight forward and let him know you are not interested.
In the future, don't play things like this out for the humor of it.Sometimes people out there can be a bit on the unstable side and you don't need to be giving people the wrong signals. That just may bite you in the butt one day.
Be honest but not hurtful and hopefully he gets it!

Yes! We don't like ANY playing. But it's always worth some.

He may figure that if he keeps trying he can wear you down. Just keep ignoring him.
