You need to find out your sound card manufacturer. Look in your paperwork. Go to the manufacturer's site and you'll find the driver there.
You also can try to go to Right Mouse Click "My Compter", Properties/Hardware/Device Manager and go to the Sound Card which should have a ? or !. Double click on it - and I believe there's a tab there that says drive or a link that says "search the internet for driver".....It could find the driver you need doing it that way.
I have always gone to the mfg's site. If you don't have your paperwork - you'll have to open the case to look at your sound card to get the model.
If you have an "on-board' sound card, you can try going to the site of your computer manufacturer and usually there's a place to put in your serial number and it should point you to the driver.

You need to re-install the drivers for your sound card. If it was built into the motherboard, the driver disk would have them. If you can't find that, the MoBo companies always have a website to download them. If it is an expantion card, you should have drivers from the manufacturer.

You need to re-install your audio drivers. Find out if your sound card is built into the motherboard or if you have a separate card. Also find out the manufacturer of your motherboard or soundcard. Once you find it log onto their website and locate your drivers. Usually under support.
