Hi Ya
It seems to me you started off with the right idea using the red for a base. Thats what they tell yu everywhere and thats what they told us in college. However I sometimees don't use it depending. For one the correct peroxide which used with dark colours is very low, if you used the right one it should not have burnt your frindge
red then chestnut (has red in it) then mahogany (has red in it) that's a lot of read. Try using a mat brown a just brown not red brown or golden brown and the red will be toned down
Hope this helps. If in doubt go to the salon.

Girls, girls, girls ....why do you do this to yourselves? This is far too complicated a situation to explain here...just suffice it to say you have a mess. I'm sure your wet hair feels like cooked noodles now. Nothing short of a good colorist and a pair of scissors is going to help you. You have eaten your hair up with peroxide which should have been lowered in volume to color back your hair. Conditioners will not CURE this problem. Shampoo gently, condition gently, comb gently, let air dry, and do NOT use any kind of hot tool. Good luck.

OH BOY, OH BOY!!!! I did that in my youth too, took a long time to get it back to normal. Go to a beautician have her fix the color to what you want and then condition the heck out of it. There is a product called Fanciful Rinse. It comes in several shades, you can even dilute it, pour it on your hair until you get the color right. It is pretty strong and will discolor your towels and sheets, but it all washes out in the end. It is just a temporary hair color but it might help you out. It is at least worth a try.
Good Luck, it will grow out, just treat your hair gently for a while.

i had that happen to me once. I ended up cutting my hair very short. So short I hated myself. I let it grow out, it took about two years, it looked so beautiful..Everyone told me to keep it natural, because it looked like brooke sheilds hair. I never dyed it again.
my hair is beautiful now.. Every where i go everyone tells me how beautiful it is. Just leave the dye alone and don't use hairspray, or heat to dry it.

Get yourself to a proffessional salon - not the woman down the road, you need to go to Saks or Contemporary or somewhere where they have been highly trained and they have the quality products to rescue you.
Your hair probably needs to be stripped and seriously conditioned or it will fall out!! Just find the money and go! Be prepared to spend some money on their shampoo and conditioner too!
GOOD LUCK!

Dont bleach your hair blonde ever again for starters its tacky and an overused look. I would go to a salon and just get consulted because i think youll need professional help.

Go to a professional! You didn't need to put 'red' on your hair, only a warmer colour. Red is a very hard colour to get rid of!

If it was semi-permanent you could try washing it several times to try and remove some of the dye. If not, got to a trusted hairdresser and let them sort it out....I'm guessing you've learned your lesson on using too many colours at once, so I shan't lecture!!
