May seem stupid I know, but Saturday a female bartender I talked to very briefly, sent a drink to the table I was eating at for me on her dime. When I went to thank her, she had left her number with the other bartender. That was 2 days ago, should I call now? What do I talk about? Help!

Dude - man up and give her a call. Have purpose though. Don't call and be all akward and whatnot. Call her up and be like:

"hey, this is (enter your name here), how are you?"
(wait for response)
"I'm sorry I didn't call you sooner, but its been a crazy week. Actually, I can't really talk long - I just wanted to call and say hi."
(wait for response)

Now you go into chit-chat. You know "how's your week been" and "how about them Colts"... you know... something casual.

Then you break into:

"Hey, before I forget, I wanted to know if you'd be interested in (insert plans here) on (insert date and time here)."

This is VERY IMPORTANT. Girls want a guy who can take control and be definitive. Having a plan of what you want to do, where, and when makes you look like a stud. Saying something like - "We should do something? What do you like to do?" That makes you sound like you're not prepared. Having a plan makes you sound confident. And if she turns you down, just brush it off like its nothing and say "alright, maybe another time." Don't push too hard, it'll make you sound desprate. If she says that the date and time you propose isn't good for her, ask her what day better fits her schedule. If she gives you a hard time at this point, just let it go - its not gunna happen.

Now - if the conversation is going well - you can stay on for as long as you like, but don't talk toooooo much (you want to save some for your date). If she asks you about how you had to leave, just say something smooth lik "eh, it can wait" - that will make her feel like talking to her was more important than whatever you had planned to begin with.

If the convo is going awkwardly (like mine was last night.. hahaha) - just politely say goodbye and that you'll see her on the date and time you discussed for your date.

(**note - just because a phone convo goes awkwardly, doesn't mean shes not interested. Sometimes people are just better face-to-face.)

Alright - this is too long - I'm done now. Shoot me an email if you want more of my long-winded and probably pointless advice. hahahaha

Good luck bro.

Oh Oh... One more thing.... She's a bartender... so don't take her to a bar. Take her somewhere low-key were you two can talk, like a lounge or a coffee shop.

....if you don't like her don't call it's that simple..If you like her yes go for it you have nothing invested emotionally and she is clearly into you enough time has past not to look needy ....what you should talk about say hey you're calling to thank her for the drink the other night then let her lead at first feel her out if you feel like it ask to buy her a drink or coffee sometime later this week...

Do you find her attractive?? Do you think you can hang out and get to know her other than you know what.. If so - what the heck - what do you have to loose. Call her and tell her thank you for the drink then go from there.

Don't be chicken!!!! (c:

How cute.
Now that it's been 2 days, you should definately call... soon. When she picks up, thank her for the drink. She's bound to remember you, unless she does that to everyone ;)

If the conversation stops after "You're welcome," ask her if you can take her out sometime to repay her.

I think you should call. Start with "Thanks for the Drink," and let things progress naturally from there. Even if nothing comes of it, you really should thank her for the drink.
