so if you knew she was going to react like that why did you tell her? do you think you are depressed? or do you just want some love and attention from mom, which i can understand. well maybe for now you can turn to a really good friend for help.
sorry to hear that.

No parent likes the idea of their child needing help. They think in someway it reflects badly on them as a parent. Let your mom know that it's not her fault, but you really feel like you need some help and, instead of letting her list the reasons she thinks you don't - make her listen to the reasons you think you do. Hope this helps.

She probably doesn't want to face your problem because that will make her feel like she did something wrong....which sucks because she should listen and help you with your problems. I'm so sorry you feel bad....I've been there..I know what it's like and how hard it is to control. If you are in school...try talking to one of your favorite teachers. I remember a teacher of mine helped me out a great deal...Hope it gets better!!!!!!

that brings tears to my eyes I have kids and not lisening to them is wrong. Is there anyone else that you feel close enough to talk to. Let her know that if she can not help you in this crisis then you will have to go elsewhere for help. It can end up serious. Keep your chin up.

I'd make an appointment with your doctor to discuss going on anti-depressants or even to see a psycologist....

you must go back to your mom, and grab her by her head, and say, "Mom I'm really in bad shape here!" Mom, "if you can't try and help me I'm going to call for help!"
