Is it possible for a female to get pregnant and have a baby if she has to be on birth control for a long time.

I take the pill only to regulate my cycle. Can I still get pregnant or will it just take many tries?

If you're on the pill, essentially, you won't get pregnant.

I believe there is a chance of like 5 in 1000 that you'll get pregnant, but it's virtually impossible.

You can get pregnant on the pill, but it's very unlikely as the pill is a form of birth control. I don't think being on it long term will affect your fertility once you come off the pill, but it might take a while to get pregnant because it may take some time for your cycles to settle down again.

My wife got pregnant twice while on the pill. After she was taking them for more then 6 years. We think one time was because she had surgery and took Ampicilian medication. They didn't tell use that it reduces the effect of birth control pill. The second time 8 moths after giving birth, she got pregnant again. We don't know why... stress, perhaps because she did not take them at the same time of day, everyday? After that she no longer took the pill for birth control.

Normally you cannot get pregnant on the pill. A small percentage do (usually on accident)But this is rare. So, if you are going to try to conceive - you should stop taking it.

you should give yourself at least a 3 month rest to be sure it's all out of your system before you start trying to get pregnant, but if there's no other problems, you should be fine
