Could be totally normal... could be she's feeling a bit unloved and wants someone to love her unconditionally... give her a little extra unconditionally loving attention and see how it goes.... either she needs it and will respond... or she's secure and happy and wants to be as good a mom as you are!

It's normal for young girls to have little fantasies about babies. It's just a girl thing, like how girls think of marrying a prince (even though they're only 6 or 7), or how girls play with baby dolls and take care of them. She'll outgrow the phase, so don't worry :)

all 7 year olds want a baby. my sister is 7 too. she talks about having a baby all the time. she only knows that babys come from the mommy's tummy. and nothing about ***. it is just some thing that little girls dream about.

Maybe she wants the illusion of unconditional love.
So many young girls want babies because they will be love by their babies! Could she be looking for love? Give her lots of love and attention. If she wants to care for something consider getting her a pet.

Don't many 7 year old girls want a doll but refer to it as a "baby?"
She would be very advanced for her age if she understood the whole concept of "wanting a baby!"

Maybe because she has alot of time with her babydoll that she wants a real baby to have. I think you should talk to her about this type of stuff because it is to early for her to be talking about having babys hope this helped you out!!!

My seven year old daughter was the same until her brother came along.... she is just following her maternal instinct, let her play it out, play with her sometimes. I think most little girls want to be a mum.

it's her maternal instincts. why do you think little girls always play with baby dolls and put them in cribs and such?
i always wanted a baby ever since i was that small, nothing weird about it IMO...
