well let me break it down for you
I"M YOUR FRIEND
I'm your friend no matter what

( he is saying that he cares for you and he loves you as a friend and will never mean to hurt you)
Some words you say are hurtful
Imperfect yet we are
Inside Im cut, BUT YOU CAN"T SEE

( now he is saying that sometime you say mean and hurtful thing to him and you don't know it sometimes and IMPERFECT means that both are you are ot perfect and he respects that)
Im loyal to you always (he is always nice to you)
An everlasting friend ( he stays a friend to you no matter what)
One day you`ll know just what it means ( one day you'll know what his care for you means)
To journey to all ends ( he will be friends with you to the end)

well, I have been writing poems for years and the subliminal message is part of the poems greatest gift.To get the person to look deeper than just the words and get what is being "felt" not just what is being said.
What he is saying is that he cares for you so much but sometimes he feels you take him for granted and don't realize that you hurt him with your actions or words that you say without thinking.He knows you don't really mean it so that's why he deals with it and don't really want to make a big deal about it.He just is trying to get you to realize that his friendship is from the deepest of true hearts and he doesn't want you to ever take it for granted.So, I think maybe you need to revert back to some of the actions or words you my have said in the past and possibly say alot to him still that you may need to understand are not appropriate.I am sure if you think about it you will know what he is talking of.

He wants to be a poet. He starts learning how to be a poet by imitating other poets' style. The message is not what's important. It's a common message in a lot of poems. What's important is simply that he's trying to learn to be a poet, and wants some encouragement, such as "good poem, but it could be better."

It sounds like he is telling you that he really cares about you and that you have hurt him but he forgives you. Maybe he even has deeper feelings for you and when you mention that hot guy across the room he dies a little inside.....I don't know. The best way to approach this one is to tell him you really liked it, you cherish your friendship, and see what he says from there. Sometimes people use poetry to say a lot of things and since he has shared this with you and even told you it is FOR you , then he obviously is opening a door....whether you want to go in it, is up to you. and what exactly is your question... I would say from the poem that he's got it bad for you... sounds like he's really into you and maybe you just aren't seeing it... that you might have hurt him in the past but that he's always gonna be there for you... what else do you need to know...

This fellow sounds like a want to be poet who is wishful and disturbed about your "friend" relationship. Romantics turn to poetry so that's a clue to where his heart is. If he wants a romantic relationship with you and you don't, hope you can talk it out without hurt feelings.

Well, this poem sounds like you hurt their feelings with something that you said. I sounds like they have a crush on you and just want you to understand that no matter what ever happens they will always be there for anything that you need.

I think it adds up. He seems to be trying to let you know that he will always be your true friend right to the end. That even though you say things that hurt him. He forgives you and still remains your friend. That he will always be there for you.
In my opinion he sounds like a true friend. Not many of those out there now.

He's just saying that he'll be with you no matter what and u can count on him. or he wants to be more than a friend with you.

Seems like you've hurt him in some way..... that he wants you to acknowledge what you did, so that your friendship can continue without any hard feelings.
