yeah I saw the other questions.
The truth of the matter is the sin was when Adam blamed God.
He said....that woman thou gave me,instead of saying.....I was wrong.I know no body believes this but his disobedience was what it was all about and if he had have just said he was wrong

It had nothing to do with eating anything, original sin was a sexual sin, and Christians who think it was about obedience only are very naive and have not really looked into the matter very deeply.

Actually, it's caused by a belief that
blood covers sin.
This is a notion that can be traced back to
the Cane and Abel, which explains why
some form of blood sacrifice shows up in all
religions.

It wasnt about the fruit. I could have been anything. The point is that God put something "off limits" and satan convinced Eve to disobey God.

The point is that even though their lives were perfect, and they had everything they wanted, and they were able to walk with God in the garden, they were selfish and wanted "more" and disobeyed Gods ONLY rule.

No it is all about mans dissobedience to God !
15. The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
16. And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
17. but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

It's not about fruit. It's about disobedience. Christ died so that all men everywhere could be reconciled to God. But the issue is always "Are you going to obey God or not?' It's a choice.

It wasn't over a piece of fruit, it was about obedience.

Not fruit, sugar...OBEDIENCE. The issue was obedience to God, and they failed by listening to someone else and using their free will inappropriately.
