Cinnamon, sugar and raisans. Brown the rice with onions, add a small can of tomatoe sauce and cook it until done-Spanish rice. Add some soy sauce or gravy to it and eat. Eat it plain.

Get a rice cooking machine and cook the damn rice. Then order some Chinese / Japanese / Korean and you have some damn good flavor and low in calories too. Thats why most of us Asians are healthy and have high metabolism, because rice is good for you! (Unlike what most people think..)

Make spanish rice, with chopped tomato, diced onion & green peppers, plenty of chili powder--or hot sauce!
Rice is pretty high calorie, but onions & peppers have next to none, and tomatoes are very low, too. Spices are calorie-free.

Put some broth in it (just a little) and some seasonings (cajun, garlic, onion, etc). Or heat some kidney beans in a little of the liquid and puree them and mix them with rice and spices.

Try a healthy jambalaya. If you add so much that a great percent is not carbs, then its great. Add tomato sauce lots of veggies, like collards, peas, carrot, spinach, corn, green beans, bell peppers etc. And maybe spices and beans or shrimp.

hopefully you started with brown rice (low in carbs and tons better for you), then I would steam some veggies. Have fun with it and remember spices aren't fattening, teriyaki is great too
