No, Jesus Christ gets all the glory and honor, and it's God's will to choose that person to come to Christ.
Continue your good work, and God will bless you for it...

The Bible speaks of believers receiving crowns for different things based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). The various crowns are described in 2 Timothy 2:5; 2 Timothy 4:8; James 1:12; 1 Peter 5:4; and Revelation 2:10. James 1:12 is a good summary of how we should think about the Judgment Seat of Christ, “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.”

Yes you do get credit for witnessing. YOu get blessed for it and its worth that persons soul. It makes you a better christan because you litterally saved someones life in a sense. Spiritually. It says in the Bible that, you should allways preach the Gospel. And in 2cor 1:16 i belive it says im never ashamed of the gospel. People have died becuase the converted people. Like the disciples. But they're in heaven now!

You will be rewarded one day by God. But God should get the credit because he saved you through the works of His Holy Spirit as this person you lead to the lord came into a knowledge of knowing him through the working of the Holy Spirit.

God gets the credit.
If you are witnessing to someone to score points when you reach the Pearly Gates, then your heart isn't in the right place because you're trying to bring glory or attention to yourself.
All glory goes to God.

The way you are thinking you will not have any credit at all!
A Christian is somebody that is not thinking about rewards, or crowns, or credits for himself. He is only a "vase", a servant, a slave of Jesus, and he testifies because he loves Him. The only reward he may want is to do the will of His Lord (my Lord too): to proclaim the "good news of salvation" in love.

If your motive for witnessing is for anything other than love for that person, you have the wrong motive and receive nothing.
He has forgiven you of all, wouldn't you want to share that with others because of the change in your heart.
Works means nothing unless it is done from the heart.
Give not expecting to recieve, and ye shall be blessed
Motive is everything

God gets the credit because what you had that you shared was given to you by him to start with.

The Bible says 'I planted, Apollos watered, but God kept making it grow'. You may have indeed planted a seed of truth, but the heart condition of that person is between them and God. HE is ultimately who deserves the credit for the saving part anyhow! :)

God is the only one who can save anyone, but he does it through the obedience of his servants.
Evangelists are nothing more that messengers, and the only credit they get is for their obedience, The same as anyone else.
