she is about three months old and is adorable..but she is a stinker to my Chihuahua, who is a boy, she won't leave him alone for 5 minutes, and she is intruding (on purpose we think) on all of his territory and habits..he has a certain place that he lays on the couch, now she lays there, even though she won't fit, he sleeps under the covers in our bed, she never has until recently even though it is obvious that she is to hot..and on it goes..any idea why she is behaving this way, and is there anything we can do to make her give him a little space?

In this case, I believe she is trying to assert dominance already over the Chihuahua. This might go farther. My best advice is to bring her into obedience training. She is a "bully" breed and will naturally be inclined to be dominant. However I believe if you assert your dominance in an uncruel fashion, you can show her that those are his spots and his bumper space needs to be respected....Because you, "the top dog" said so.
I believe it is possible for you because She is still young.
Also, if the chihuahua is aggressive, he will need to be taught not to attack her. Because even the most mild mannered bully type of dog won't start a fight but will not hesitate to finish one. That should be established while she hasn't come into maturity. Good luck and enjoy, they are wonderful companions. P.S watch out for too much heat, and if you have plans to breed her...Please look into it really well. They have been so over bred over the course of their history that breeding can bring unimaginable heart break.

I am not sure. I have the same kind of dogs, and the same sex too. I had my bulldog first though, and so she already had all her own spots. I would say your bulldog is a little jealous of the chihuahua. I would try to make a special place just for your bulldog, maybe buy it a blanket or bed and some toys for just your bulldog. I would also try to spend some time with just your bulldog. You should also correct the bulldog. Any time the bulldog pushes the chihuahua out of the way move her and firmly tell her no, and do the same with toys, ect. You must set limits and rules for your bulldog, and not let her bully your chihuahua. They will be bestfriends in no time at all, hopefully, mine are.

My first suggestion is to continuously verify with the look after and pound. This alleviates the "puppy issues" burglary and furniture chewing. second, a Bulldog includes a intense cost ticket. in case you get one lower priced (decrease than $one thousand), you'll purchase your Vet a clean Ferrari. in case you call a strong breeder, you will pay more advantageous than some you would even see contained in the paper. this isn't the position you want to keep you money. you want this puppy to be with you for years in well being and stamina.

She is jealous, or she wants to be included in everything that he is. She is a dog, you can't expect her to give him room. She doesn't understand that. Give her lots of attention, that might help. Play with her enough to keep her from wanting him to play. They will probably work it out between the two of them with some time.

PS Be very careful of her overheating! Bulldogs can overheat easily. Just a heads up for summer. NEVER leave her outdoors!

Just being a typical puppy. When she has pushed his buttons one time too many, he will let her know!

she is questioning his dominance and she is being a puppy. it is up to you to teach her what behavior is acceptable and what is not. bulldogs are notoriously stubborn so good luck and don't give up!!
