Don't they realize that I'll jump out of bed without turning on the light and trip over the stupid game chair that the rotten kids left in the middle of the living room floor?

I think it's bad manners to call late at night -I don't call anyone after 10pm nor do I like to be called after 10. Seems many people do that, I rarely have to tell or ask anyone not to call me later... I don't even go to bed yet at 10 but I just like to have peace & quiet late at night!
But if you go to bed very early people can't possibly know. Get a night light, or put the phone right next to the bed?

lol sucks when murphys law takes place my question is why would you bother to answer the phone if you whent to bed! If i'm in bed i won't answer it! if it is important they willl continue to call over and over untill i wake up!
Also why would you let your kids leave toys out before putting them to bed? i would be installing good habits so they arn't like me trying to run a house hold and keep it clean! now i'm out 50 a week to have someone comein and help! and still have a semi clean house! I so wish my mom would of MADE me clean my room damn it!
cuz now i'm forced to build my own habit after i'm in a habit of not doing it! and it's harder when your an adult!
you know old people get stuck in there way's and i'm not getting any younger!

You need a cordless phone in the bedroom and to announce to the idiots calling that no calls after 9pm.
Your kids could also pick up their toys EACH day when done with them. You are the parent so MAKE THEM do it.

Maybe because they don't realize what time you go to bed. I have a phone on the bedside stand for that very reason.
