I am 25 and I work alot. When I do go out I am very shy and have trouble meeting nice guys. It would be nice to have someone to chat with but I don't know where to meet a nice guy.

Here's where I tend to meet nice single guys...
1. Concerts/Live music venues
2. Sporting matches
3. Bars (be choosey with which bar to visit though, many are really sleazy!)
4. University campus
5. Friends' parties
Also, I haven't done it personally, but I have heard great things about speed dating. Do you have it where you are from? You get a group of single girlfriends together and sign up for a speed dating event, and spend an evening 'interviewing' a large number of single guys, from which you pick the ones that tickle your fancy, so to speak. It is meant to be a light-hearted and effective way to meet potential partners. And you get a drink or two free!!

hate to sound like an old bitty but you'll find a nice guy in a nice place. you might want to start going to church, if that's not your thing join a group that shares your interests. volunteer at a place you'll feel use-full. At all the above their will be guys that share the same interest that you do.........PS guys are real dense when it comes to reading girls emotions you shyness might be interpreted as coincided or not interested when talking to a guy look him directly in the eyes and smile while your talking so we get the hint that your interested

Try going to church or something. At my church they have a singles dinner. It's singles with kids, and people just looking for potential "soul mates" I guess you could say. Of course, you have to be at least eighteen.
