2-Channel equals Left&Right- You can either use the Front or Rear front being vocal or the rear being bass.

2Channel amp is an amp that allows you to hook 2 speakers or subwoofers( if you now anything about audio u can actually hook up four but that is another story i could tell u how if u ahd 4 subs or 4 speakers), but it has 2power and 2 ground places for the wires coming out of your speakers. The picture shows a 2 channel amp on the left you have your power, ground, and remote wire on the right side you have a power, ground, then another power and ground for the other speaker.

A 2 channel amp has 2 audio outputs. Depending upon what kind of amp it is depends on how many different configurations it can be wired to.
