No, but there's been some good research done in the last 15 years or so.

yes when I was 14 years old I had an accident on the side of the Monte Blanc in Switzerland. A falling rock took one leg off and damaged the other one. I started to bleed to death and I knew that was what was going to happen. I did not pray ot any silly god. I had two boys with me so I sent the smallest one to get help and I told the bigger buy how to find the pressure point in the groin to stop the bleeding. this he eventually managed to do but when they rescued me about 2 hours later I had lost so much blood I had not felling in my hand or arm. It was then than I realised that /there was no god as the Christians think there is. We are on our own and have to find out own way in life with whatever help we can find for ourselves

A friend of ours was badly hurt in a hit and run car accident. While she was in hospital things got very serious and she had an out of body experience and she was looking down over the crash. She was then able to produce the number plate of the guys car that had driven off. Her story was in a sunday newspaper magaziene a few years ago too. thats my only knowledge of the subject!

Yes, and I didn't see any bright tunnels of light, angels, heaven, OR hell...

Truth be told, it was very much like how the Norse sagas describe Asgard. (And this happen long before I ever read anything about the Norse Gods.) I recall seeing (the Norse God) Heimdall and Bifrost (the rainbow bridge).

To the poster below, NDE are not the same as being dead and coming back to life. That's why they call them "near death", you are still alive.

Nobody did. There's dead. There's alive. If you claim to have been in between and lived to talk about it you are a bare faced liar.
