Ive just finished watching it all over again.If reagan and carter were around today they would kick the s**t out of the criminals around to day and people would respect the old bill a bit more.Hard drinking, chain smoking bird pullers.My hero's.Im amazed watching it again that cops were like that.I would feel safer with them around then reg hollis and polly from the bill.What a nanny state we live in today.

Have you seen "Life On Mars" it was on BBC1 last year it was about a cop who was knocked over by a car in 2006 he regained consciousness but he had some how regained it 1973, but he is actually in a coma ! Really weired like you say them days the cops went in feet & fists first. Classic cars & soundtracks from the 70's A really good programme, series 2 will be shown early this year.

Quality TV cop show. That's what this country needs sort out the ASBO generation give 'em a taste of their own medicine.
Makes me want to buy a Vintage MK1 White Ford Granada.
