The Bible doesn't specifically state that the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge was an apple. The apple was domesticated from a wild relative in Borat's country Kazahkstan...it was red and medium-sized

No where in the bible does it say "apple" to begin with. That's just what man coined it to have something to refer to instead of relying solely on the bible and it's answers.
All it said was fruit.
Genesis 1:1-5 "Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” 2 At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. 3 But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” 4 At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. 5 For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.”

There is no mention in the Bible of the fruit BEING an apple. The
Bible only says that Eve ate from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad... not what type fruit it was. The point anyway was Adam and Eve's adherence to a law, and they failed to be obedient to the command to not eat from one particular tree.

It couldn't have been a "Granny Smith," because Adam and Eve were the first humans and neither had mothers, consequently the concept of the grandmother, or "granny" would not have been in their consciousness.
It might have been an apple almost identical with a Granny Smith, but they could never have called it that.

There was no apple. The term used was fruit. The story never stated the fruit was an apple or anything else.

It was not an apple. It's described as "the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil".

Red maybe... The color red is to grab attention and to get people to take action. Red can represent many meanings, especially of want.

The bible doesn't say it was an apple. We don't even know what kind of fruit it was. It's possible it was unique to that tree.

I definitely agree with Granny Smith. Maybe a Golden Delicious, though.
