So are Neanderthals humans or animals? Aren't they evidence of evolution. I don't get it, if God created us where do Neanderthals fit in?

Gary (who answered above) - we have fossils. So science wins the debate with credibility and facts.
But to answer the question, Neanderthals DON'T fit in to your religion. It's that simple. So how do you reconcile that? Well you can't if your only options are faith versus tangible evidence.
As you try to work this out for yourself, remember that science is flexible and changes as new evidence is found. We thought the world was flat, but science proved it was indeed round. Pluto just got "demoted" and is no longer considered a planet. Evolution IS a theory. It's just an idea -- an idea with a lot of supporting evidence, mind you -- but it could change as we learn more.
And that fact, that scientific knowledge is ever-changing, doesn't undermind science.
However, your religion wants to be -- NEEDS to be -- solid and unchanging. The whole basis for your religion is that God is all-knowing and all-powerful. If the word of God (the bible) could be wrong about something then that means God could be wrong. And your religion turns into mythology.
On the other hand, just because God didn't bother to mention Neanderthals doesn't mean he didn't know about them and is thus wrong. Nor does it mean Neanderthals simply don't exist. So even Gary's argument is flawed.
Which leaves you back to the beginning. Faith versus tangible evidence.

I'm not an expert on Neaderathal evolution. But I know that God created all life on Earth. And as they were among the early types of Man, that means God created the Neandrathals.

Interpreting early man is difficult. But I wouldn't doubt that different orders of man inter-bred. What the anthropologists found were bone fragments and remnants of interpreted living sites. Hope they deduct their findings correctly.

Catch up with science Pal. Neanderthals were fully human, and old ones at that. Where have you been, reading "old" science text?

If that's what a neanderthal looked like, they look just like humans to me... have you ever seen the Samoans? Face it... humans have a vast array of bone structures and it doesn't make them any less human.

So far, all fossils uncovered have been 100% human or 100% ape
The specimen was called Neanderthal for the place it was discovered.

There is no such thing as Neanderthasls...that is a fiction made up by the evolutionists...
Evolutionist are always looking for a way to convince themselves of foolish things in spite of evidence to the contrary.
Evolutionists invent all sorts of things as they go along.....everytime something doesn't work out right they invent another theory to keep it current with the latest discovers which keep invalidating their last assumption....it is really laughable
And sadly, convincing themselves is not enough for them. They have to further perpetuate their deceptions by spreading around to our nations youth.
The thing to remember is that evolution is still just a theory - a hypothesis, a speculation, an unproven assumption.
