You'll hear that this is a racist question, they are victims of a racist society, lack of opportunity for work and education. The truth is far too many have unstable home environments. Far too many are raised by girls who are children themselves. And lack of personal responsibility. I taught in the inner city and experienced it over and over again until I ran for my life.

If there is one thing I have learned about our judicial system it is this: "justice" has come down to just how good your attorney is and what people perceive to be true.. Crime is not color oriented. People of all races and ethnic backgrounds commit crimes. If we are giving potential jurors the preconceived notion that if you are black you are guilty of more crimes well then of course there will be a tendency for them to find more black people guilty. The other fact is that Americans are learning quickly form many examples shown in our media that the better the lawyers (regardless of the crime) which may be hired more often by non blacks, the better chances of not being convicted!

Your statistic is wrong, or your question is incorrectly worded.
Blacks do not commit nearly 4 times as many crimes as whites.
Now if you're talking about crime rates, that's a different thing, and your number might be right.
But having a higher crime rate is not the same as committing more crimes.

I think it's because the others just don't get caught or
They may be more hooked on drugs & rob to pay for it
or the people may blame them first ( that was in a documentary & i don't know how true it is )
or they are so depressed ( because of the bad way they are treated & because of their poverty they turn to crime
that is all so sad & the governments should get real & help them to have good lives so they don't turn to crime

mainly poverty and being a minorty makes themfeeling less privileged and leads to overall resentment of society. this is true for all minority groups in every country or culture. blacks don't necessarily commit a lot of crimes in the bahamas, as an example !

No, honey. Black men and women are arrested more often for crimes than their white counter part. That's why it appears that they commit more crime when they actually don't. This is called racial profiling. When a crime is committed cops look at black people first. I tell you a true story. A white officer arrested two kids for the same crime. One kid was white the other was black. The officer gave the white kid a ride home straight to his front door. The officer then process and finger printed the black kid and he was given a criminal record for the rest fo his life. This is how it is in the states.

White people don't get caught? Actually, I am white, and I know a lot of whites that commit crimes and never get caught, and I have even 'snitched' on them, and the police still will not arrest them, even though I am willing to testify. I think it is more discrimination than the amount of blacks that commit crimes.

A common misconception is that crime is correlated to race. Its actually brought on by a chemical additive in certain types of fast food chains that affects both whites and blacks. For example: KFC

Your information is not totally acurate. There are different areas in crime in which whites or others have higher rates than blacks. It depends on the crime and can't be generalised. Look below...
