Depending on what span of time you go tanning every day. I'd say your chances are VERY HIGH. You're blasting your unprotected skin with intense UV light rays. Your skin tans because it produces melanin to try and stop your skin from burning next time you're exposed. You're just repeatedly ignoring you're own body's cry for help. Don't be silly, stay out of the tanning bed.

Ok, the very best thing to do with regards to tanning, is get on a schedule of no more than twice a week for no more than 15 minutes each visit, 10 would be better, but 15 is ok.
Everyday is a problem.. anyone will tell you this.
Taking a break from tanning is ok, going back will not cause cancer, no more than tanning everyday.
Here a word I hope you have heard over and over again.
Moisturize... after every tan.. in fact because you tan moisturize everyday without fail, use white lotion, no colored lotion.
I have been tanning for 12 years, I take breaks of up to several weeks at a time, and only tan twice a week, and yes I moisturize every single day.
Hope this helps

DONT DO IT! It's just not worth it! I used to go tanning only once a week for 10-15 mins. I never thought it could happen to me - but I got skin cancer. It really is not worth it. You can use the sprays and lotions and not be taking chances with you life. Skin cancer can kill you!! The kind that I had is very often deadly. I was lucky and they caught it early before it had spread throughout my body. They were able to remove the cancer and many of my lymph nodes where the cancer had spread - but the fear will never leave and neither will the huge ugly scars that are left on my body where they cut the cancer out. The treatments were awful and the scars are ugly - but the absolute worst thing is the fear of it coming back and taking your life - or worse you might not be so lucky and it could take yours. Cancer kills!!
Look up melanoma on the web.
Serious! Just dont do go tanning - in tanning beds or in the sun. And use sunblock!!!
Your life could depend on it.

Every time you go tanning you increase your risk of skin cancer. Even with the safe tanning beds, the light rays cause a certain amount of damage to the DNA of the skin cells, and each exposure comes with a certain risk that the damage will actually cause cancer to develop.

It can't really be quantified from your info though, because there are lots of different tanning beds.

i think of suntanning for prolonged sessions of time could advance your threat, whether you probably did it merely as quickly as a month. although, the advantages of photograph voltaic truly help preclude many varieties of maximum cancers, and the solar can provide a sturdy grant of nutrition D, which maximum folk don't get virtually adequate of. Plus, I study that around 95% of human beings who get pores and skin maximum cancers from tanning get the variety that's no longer deadly (the deadly style of pores and skin maximum cancers is maximum in many situations surpassed on via genetics), and there's a few thing like a ninety 8% restoration fee. yet, sunscreen blocks out extraordinarily much all the solar's advantages! So the terrific element to do could merely be to get some solar (actual solar, no longer suntan midsection rays) at 10-quarter-hour at a time, taking approximately 20-35 minute breaks in between tanning. That way, you will no longer get elderly pores and skin or a severe threat of pores and skin maximum cancers, yet you will truly preclude many varieties of maximum cancers!

if you know tanning causes skin cancer, why would you still do it? what you asked is no different than putting a gun in your hand that holds 8 bullets but you only put 4 in. Give it a spin and pull the trigger and see if it fires.

Even WORSE than sitting out in the sun because it more direct UV rays. Anyone who goes tanning anymore, is insane. Totally insane. I would rather have my white skin than to have skin cancer kill me. Who's going to see your tan when you're in a coffin?
