He says that it is art and he is quite good ,but I feel like he must get aroused by the naked models. He loves painting them and says the female body is beautiful and it is not sexual. I agree to an extent but how do I live with him without getting jealous and feeling bad ? I really care about him and he says vice versa .

I am a photographer who takes artistic nude photos. Quite truthfully, I am too busy to get aroused while taking the photos. I would imagine that your boyfriend has a similar reaction. He is working at his craft. And NO, I do not touch the models. That is one way to lose my reputation and the ability to continue to work in the field.

Regarding feeling jealous and bad, those are emotions you choose. If you choose to feel bad, then you are going to do it no matter what. If you choose to be proud of your boyfriend, then I am sure your relationship will deepen.

Models are called models because they are not the real thing. Offer him the real thing: a live, warm and sensuous woman. Afterall, do you care where he gets his appetite if he always eats at home? (Metaphorically speaking).

Go along to colleges to their art classes and ask if they want a life model. If you are over weight, even better. They always need models to paint and draw and they pay about £30 an hour.

the human body is beautiful. i used to draw nudes too, both men and women. doesn't mean i have a thing for the models, they are just models. i think its the task of trying to capture a real life person's characteristics, feelings or movements that make it all worth drawing as compaired to still life. sorry, i got carried away...back to your question, you have to have trust in your boyfriend. i'm sure he leaves his art on his canvas and comes home to you. no worries and good luck!

Seriously, I doubt he even thinks of those women as women; he just sees them as something to paint, like a still life
