FOR SURE! The ship will be wall-to-wall kids, and Carnival has Excellent programs for kids of different ages, so they can be occupied and find other kids around their ages to hang out with on the cruise. A family that my family is very close with went on a Carnival cruise a couple years ago, their daughter was 10 at the time and she met a girl on there that she is still friends with now, and she's almost 14. You never know who you'll meet.

I went on a cruise in November and saw very few children! But since you are going in summer, aka vacation season, there will likely be lots of kids. Your children should have a great time and will likely meet lots of other kids while cruising. Carnival has great kids programs and trained staff to make sure they are in good hands while mom & dad have some alone time. Don't worry, I'm sure your family will have a fantastic time!
And someone mentioned the possibility of there being a lot of rowdy college kids on board? Most college kids cruise during spring break, which is in the March-April time frame or in May for graduation, not June. And some cruise lines change their age restrictions during those months to keep college kids off the boat! So I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Yes definately!!
A girlfriend of mine cruised on the western caribbean with carnival in June. She was trying to avoid kids. As a fellow travel agent, she took the discounted cruise anyway. At the end of the cruise, the cruise director announced over loud speaker a big thank you to the camp carnival kids program. There were over 300 kids ages 2-17 on board the ship. All of them had such a blast that they were barely seen or heard by adults!! Had she known that there were 300 kids on board she would have ran kicking and screaming not even giving them a chance...

Since that is the first month the kids are out of school, all ships usually have a good number of kids on board.
Camp Carnival has great activities for the kiddos.

June is vacation time for schools here in PA, so there would probably be quite a few children on board.

The ship will also have lots of college kids on board so there will be good rowdy drinking fun.
