Many businesses here in Cancun take US Dollars without a problem, and US stores along the Canadian border take Canadian dollars??


So what's the big deal if that crappy pizza place accepts peanuts or beads for their goods??? Still, they're on the losing side, since they lose a sizeable chunk of their profit in the exchange.

Look American $$ are accepted all over the world because is the money that run in the economical world,,, but the Mexican peso!!! that is only good in Mexico. The big deal is that it is an American company, on American soil, paying American taxes, with American dollars. I wonder if they give change in American dollars. Thus, violating banking laws.

well there is not a real problem because if you go in canada,mexico etc etc etc etc they will take dollars if you buy

What a lot of people aren't understanding here is that Pesos aren't just being accepted at Pizza Patrons in Texas - a border state. The Pizza Patrons in Colorado and Nevada are also accepting Pesos. Those states DO NOT border with Mexico.

My problem with it ---- This is not Mexico and I think we do enough catering to them as it is. Accepting Mexican money in the United States is going a little too far.
