Are they incablable of looking at gays as humans?
Do they think we will suddenly start granting animals the right to marry? (They don't even have the right to live a decent life before we kill them to satisfy our hunger for meat. )
Is it simply that they have no logical secular reasons for banning gay marriage, so they have to make up falicies?
And most of all, didn't Jesus say loving your neighbor was one of the most important commandments of all? That and loving him above all. Well if that's what Jesus would do, and you love Jesus, and want to follow his top 2 commandments, shouldn't you have a little compassion? Maybe it's not your cup of tea, maybe you even think its a sin, but who are you to judge?
If you're right, they will go to hell, and God can punish them. Stop trying to play God.

havent u noticed most christians like to play god, they enjoy judging people around them. condemning them to a life of hell and tourment.

Odd to compare the two, but if gay marriage is granted, then were will it stop? Mother marrying her son, why not? Brother marrying sister, why not? Prostitution, why not? Multiple wives/husbands, why not? If it is between two consenting adults (or more) why not? Also, Jesus didn't only teach love, but the sword.
Mathew 10:34-36, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household."
Also, Jesus said 'love your neighbor', not love and support his/her sin.
Oh, and I do love my neighbor as myself. He/She can marry the oppostie sex, just like I can. Also, he/she can't marry anything/anyone they love or want to, just like I can't. All is fair and equal.

Never heard that comparison before, and I have never met those "people" you refer to. As a christian, I can tell you I have my own sins to deal with without worrying about somebody elses. I'm nobodies judge and I don't want to be. The only people I'd be wiling to judge (and it wouldn't be pretty), is child molesters, serial killers & terrorists, and He didn't even give me the right to judge them. Like I said, I got my own sins to worry about, I'm not responsible for anyone elses.

Gays are humans......but they cannot inherit eternal life in their present sinful condition. They must repent of this sin and trust Jesus to save them. Cry out for mercy from the Lord all you GLBTs.
Animals will not be given the right to marry, but humans could then marry animals because otherwise it would be Beastialphobic to speak against this union. You wouldn't want to be considered Beasialphobic would you?
There are no logical secular reasons for banning gay marriage except that it makes no sense. Consider: 2 male organs do not produce children. 2 female organs do not produce children. Only one male and one female organ produce children. Kinda logical isn't it? Though it is from a biological standpoint.
Do you really know who Jesus was telling the Jews to consider their neighbors? It was those that they hated the most. It was the Samaritans to the Jews. And to you it would be whomever you hate. I don't hate GLBTs, therefore they are not considered my neighbors. I guess you could consider my enemy every false religion known to man.
The most important Commandment of all is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Have you done that every day of your life? I don't think any one has..
The commandments weren't meant to be followed but are used as a schoolmaster to bring you to Christ. Noboby is perfect and the 10 Commmandments prove this. That is why you need Jesus to avoid the Judgment of God.
Jesus says not to judge your spritual brother or sister in Christ but judge each and every man/woman by their words and actions. For you will know them by their fruit, whether it be good or evil. Christians are to judge everything even themselves otherwise they would be easily deceived.
Christians, like God, do not want anyone to go to Hell. Hell is meant for Satan and his demons, not us. God calls all of mankind to repent and believe in his Son, Jesus so that we may be saved from his righteous judgment. I don't want anyone to go to Hell.
I guess you can sumarize that this Christian does not agree with you.

I've never heard that comparison before. Whoever said it should be slapped. People like that give us Christians a bad name.
Gay people's "gayness" is between them and God. Not anyone else. Maybe I don't agree with it, but it's not my problem. So I can be pals with gays and lesbians and not be condemning. :)

Ive tried several times to explain that an animal or inanimate object cannot give consent - but they dont care. Its the same to them.
