I get home from work at 5:45 and have dinner on the table by 7:00. I cook a homecooked meal at least 6 nights a week and usually breakfast on the weekends as well. I find that the crockpot makes my life so much easier. I put a roast or stew or chili in in the morning and viola, dinner when I get home! Plus, my guy is retired and gets to smell and anticipate a good hot meal all day! LOL.

Im a busy mother of 3 and work 50 hrs a week and still cook homemade meals. You can still make a homemade meal in the crockpot or slowcooker. They have many cookbooks out there just for slowcookers.

I'm too tired when I get home from work - I'm up at 5:30, and not home again till 6:30 or 7:00 - IF I don't have to go to the store on the way home.
I do try and cook something most nights - even if it's just pulling ground beef out of the freezer and throwing some pasta into a pot. Jared sauce and that's dinner. Sometimes that's all the time/energy I have.

I live alone and I don't really like to cook. I know that a lot of people enjoy it, but to me it's just another chore. I certainly don't look forward to coming home from work at 7:00 (or later) and then spending half an hour cooking and cleaning up. If I cook at all, it's on the weekends or when I have friends over.

There's no excuse. I hate it when people say that they can't cook! Have they never heard of a cook book?? As long as you can read directions you can cook!
Like you said, use a slow cooker. They have cookbooks just for things you can cook in there. I cook homemade meals every night unless my boyfriend wants to take me out to dinner somewhere.

Are you looking for good ones? Unfortunately I don't have any, I cook every night, but simple stuff. Weekends are for the fancy stuff. And I love my slow cooker!!!

I work a 40 hour week. I make homemade stuff on weekends. Weekdays you eat what I make, be it homemade, take out or a quickie meal. If you don't eat what I make, you starve.
The end.
