I am talking to a very shy guy...we've went out a few like 5 or 6 times but he's not ready to take things into a relationship...I've figured there's no reason to give up. But he kinda said I was going to be his date for a Valentines Dinner that's coming up. Does that mean this is actually going somewhere?

Shy guys can be hard to get. They are shy so they don't move very quickly.
It seems like its going somewhere, let him define the relationship though, because you could make him nervous.

I my self a shy guy, I was opened to girls but then I replay all what I was saying and the SMS I sent, I realized how stupid and twaddle I was .. better of staying quiet that feeling regret, also most of times Iam interested in a particular girl that I don't even care about the others, It shouldn't be normal though If it's that serious

Being a shy guy myself, if he told you that you are his date for the Valentine's dinner, and you've already actually gone out and it's been fairly positive, then you have a date for the dinner. What happens after that is up to the two of you.

you like shy guys, looks like you attracted a whole bunch of them to this post.anyways, ppl always change after the first yr and rarely before in a relationship more so in a marriage.so you have a year to work with. do what most chicks do, rip out his heart and bleed his wallet dry.
