I think seagulls are beautiful birds but can tend to get annoying sometimes!! GO SEAGULLS!!!

I live in cornwall where the seagulls are a real problem, coming into land to forage and steal from the vulnerable and unexpected.

they can be dangerous and vicious.

But this is due to the birds having to come in land to forage to survive. The fishing quotas, which would normally be their source of food, are practically non existence, living near Newlyn in Cornwall, a fishing harbour, the amount of the fishing fleet that remain static is alarming.

Yes they can be dangerous but on the other hand they are a graceful and to some, a much loved species. I photograph them on a reguar basis.

What are we humans doing to the environment and natural habitat of these fine gulls.

i do not understand if 'rock' is the note i'd use. i imagine they're actually lovable, although the way they stay is sad. i imagine seagulls are as captivating as the different fowl, yet i don't love because they ought to eat garbage and there are purely such rather a number of them that folk learn the thanks to hate them for doing what birds do. i'm no longer advantageous if it is universally time-honored, yet ALL birds poop. no human being complains at the same time as a robin poops on your vehicle, yet a seagull is a great deal because we see seagulls so typically and they are purely everywhere.

I had a flock of sea gulls chase my cat of whom I had to rescue from under a bush and then the following week another bunch attacked my 3 year olds bag of chips whilst he watched a boat.

The only good seagull was in that book I once read, something like Jonathan Livingstones something or the other.

The rest are like flying rats in my honest opinion!

I agree with you. I live about 60 miles from the nearest sea and the gulls come and gather in a school playing field opposite me. It makes a nice change to see them and hear them this far inland. And one time when I was at Blackpool I was under this canvas roof which covered one end of the peir and the seagulls were walking on top of it and all you could see was their webbed feet strutting about... was quite funny to watch. They are so cool as they fly against the wind too, delicately nabbing a proffered chip from your fingers. I mean they could take your finger off but they are so good at it.

Seagulls are the dive bombers of the animal armed forces, they are horrible, they gang up on you, steal your chips when you're eating them on the seafront, and every opportunity they get, they like to drop a little parcel on you!
