Yank out the eyeball run some cool water over it, pat it dry with a paper towel, and push it back into the socket.

*inserts typical first aid rant*
As the others have said, pull your top eyelid over the bottom.
If this does not work, use a wet tissue to gently wipe away the object. Wipe ONLY ONCE. Resist the urge to rub or scratch as this will irritate the eye. Remember that tears are the body's natural way of removing particles away from the eye, so do not stop this process.
If you are unable to remove the *eyelash in this case* or it come to one of the particular situations below, bandage the eye appropriately and carefully and proceed to an emergency station.

Do not remove a foreign particle from the eye if:
1. the particle is on the cornea - the colored part of the eye.
2. if the object is sticking to the eyeball
3. is embedded in the eye or the surrounding tissue.

I would irrigate it with some clean water for a few minutes. If after a while it still feels like something is in it, then you may of scratched your eye. If after a day it still feels irritated I would see your eye doctor to see what is going on.

Get someone to gently blow on your eye, usually that helps, otherwise using your top eyelid to rub it out is another way to go.
