In general, girls are more subtle and ambiguous by nature compared to the direct male. See even your question ask, I want to know how long exactly and i want to know now. I, I, I want, it's about me. However remember it's a 2 way street, and you have to remember to 1) take things SLOWW!, 2) keep your own set of friends 3) don't get consumed, or obsessed 4) keep your own LIFE! leading to the answer which is let her know that you understand she needs space to think, and that she has any question about you, you'll be able. Tell her meanwhile that you hope she will find her peace. It's is not just about "space" for her, but it's also a test if you are consumed by the other person that you need to know about her, stuck to her, or consumed by her in you thoughts. Offer your support, and wait, hold your ground, spend time on your own life, hobbies, interest and friends until she is ready to come out into the open from her space.

Never. If she says she needs space, that means its not working out. Sometimes, she takes the time to think and realizes you're the perfect guy for her, but I have only seen this work in the movies. If you really want to confuse her, tell her you want to just be friends and never bring up anything about relationships again. It is better to have a girl you love in your life as a friend, than to totally push her away with thoughts of happily ever after. Something great will happen after that. All of the tention between you will dissipate, and just maybe the movie ending will come about some day, but don't expect it to take 2 hours...just friends, ok?

Let her contact you.
She is the one that wanted space, to go figure out what she wants to do with her life, not you.
Don't try to think about what she is thinking, it will only put you to negative thoughts!

It's always good to have a separation and for the first few days or maybe weeks, you will feel very down and depress, as you know you miss seeing her and hearing from her, but this will soon slowly go away as you accept the fact that you miss her.

Use this time and space yourself, once your mind has settle it's thoughts and feelings, start to think for yourself, what do you want with your life? But only think about that and answer that once your miserable feelings has subsided.

It's hard, it's painful and makes you feel miserable, but this period will allow you to learn how to stay strong and let me tell you, it's not easy, but it is something you must go through! :)

Maybe one or two weeks? Or wait for the girl to make a move first.

Might not want to stick with her if she gets mad about you contacting her after two weeks.

When a girl says that she needs space, she means "LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A BIT!" she will contact you when she is ready to be with you again.

I know when i told my boyfriend that i wanted space he continuously called me and to tell you the truth it pi**ed me off.

If she wants you to call you all the time then she doesn't want space.

awhile, it usually means that she is losing interest quickly. THe best thing is to let her go, if you love something set it free, I PROMISE, if you blow her off, and you know she cares about you she will come calling, if she isnt interested and you are getting on her nerves, well, take it like a man and just chalk it up to a relationship that wasnt meant to be, you will get over it, we have all been there, pull up your bootstraps and get on with yourself, your a man, you cant show your Pu##Y side.
