You will need a cd deck i have a Jvc in my Jeep cherokee it sounds just fine it is about $140 and front speakers go to crutchfield.com to find size and price try to get speakers with a higher db rating they will be louder with less power going to them, do the same for the rear speakers depending on the music you listen to you will want a sealed or ported sub box if you like rock go with the sealed if you like rap go with the ported for a tahoe i would go with a Boston Acustik sub about $110 and a kicker 350.4 amp about $120 that is what i have in my jeep and it is plenty loud if you get the 4 channel amp make sure your sub has a dual voice coil so you can bridge two channels going to each voice coil i hope this helps you out
