Call the dental school, ortho department. Ask them when is their next open call. They charge $1800.00 for the braces, and around $300 for xrays and models. It is definately cheaper than in private practice. The professors are all board certified each have over 20 years experience. You get the best of both worlds.

It really depends on the ortho you go to. Some are expensive and some are reasonable. I would say about $3500-$5000.
