Hi I'm training to be a priest/pastor... and yep -anyone can just walk into a church when it's open.

In my humble oppinion the healthiest churches have a few freaks and weirdos... I think it shows that anyone can be real about their gunk. Within the church we can have boudries of respecting others and ask people to leave if they harrass people etc but beyond that I really don't want to build a church where everyone is my definition of cool, or where people are so insecure they form cliques.

I know some churches can feel like that but I don't think it has to be that way.

Our church has a sign that says "all are welcome". It's not open 24/7, its small and not enough people to stay there all the time. It's not a club, but people do choose to become members, but honestly, no one would join a church they hadn't visited in the first place, right? You have a problem with freaks and weirdos? I think it breaks the monotomy to have different people at church, so being a "freak" or "weirdo" is fine with me.

No anyone can come in.... and if they are truly christians they would be willing to sit with the sinner as jesus did...

Add: We have thieves and child molesters, adulterers, in the midst of us, even some christians are these... so yes anyone "freaks and weirdos" "only those who are sick need the Physician"

Anyone can walk into a church. That is what the church is for. All of us (even christians) are sinners. And all is welcome in God's house.

NO. Anyone can go to church, as long as you, dont, like, steal from the congregation, or molest the sunday school class, or kill someone.

Sort of. All are welcome in church. However, well there you are expected to observe certain "house rules". These vary form removing your shoes at the door, to avoiding desecration of the church.

If it's a real church, it's open to all.
