assuming no one is their to give them permision. And if they see signs of forceable entry does this change anything?

if a security alarm goes off and they see signs of forced entry they can enter to investitgate as soon as they arrive. Most Security alarm companies contact the police if you dont turn the alarm off in a certain amount of time. The Police can investigate any possible crime scene, if there is no sign of forced entry, though, i cant see why they would enter you home at all.

Yes they can enter because they don't know if it is a false alarm or burglary in process. If they see force-able entry , yes they will also enter. They will probably get in contact with the landlord or super of the building or ask the neighbor who is the tenant of the apartment.

They will only enter your home if they believe someone is in danger or a crime is being committed.

Without question, there is visible sign that a crime is being or has been committed, they don't need anybody permission

as far as i know they can. probable cause.
