I've made peanut butter cookies several times with only 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1 egg.

But without the egg...tough.

You can make those peanut butter balls with peanut butter, honey, dried milk, and maybe coconut. There are also those stovetop things with oatmeal, cocoa, sugar, peanut butter, and...I don't know the recipe exactly.

But as far as regular cookies, unless you have eggs or an egg substitute, like those "egg replacers" or ground flaxseed...probably not. Plus, you need a leavener if you don't use eggs because eggs help the cookies rise.

Try candy, stovetop cookies, p-nut butter balls...think outside the, uh, jar.

If you have Baking Powder you can try:
* 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
* 1/3 cup margarine or oil
* 3/4 cups regular or brown sugar
* 2 cups flour
* 1/2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
10-12 min @350 degrees

if not here is PB fudge recipe
3/4 cup margarine
1 cup peanut butter
3 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar

Instructions:
# Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
# In a saucepan over low heat, melt margarine.
# Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
# Stir in confectioners' sugar, a little at a time, until well blended.
# Pat into prepared pan and chill until firm.
# Cut into squares.

Fruit, especially bannanas, or tofu can replace eggs. Nothing really replaces baking soda, but you may be able to find a recipe online that doesn't use it. Search for vegan peanut butter cookies. Vegans do not eat eggs.

You can do it, but it will taste like sh*t, putting in bluntly. My best advice is don't bake the cookies until you have all the ingredient's. There are NO replacements. The baking soda is to help the cookies rise, the egg is for texture. You will have none of those in the cookies, if you do it without those ingredient's. And, you will find out soon enough, that you have made crap. You won't want to eat the cookies, and the trash can will find itself full, if you get my meaning. I had to be blunt with you.
Eggs, and baking soda are very cheap. Please get some before you bake the cookies. You will be glad you did. Good eats to you.

This is the best that I can do - everything I read says you CANNOT substitute anything for baking soda. It is so cheap so go out and purchase a box. If you cannot do so, however, why not make something else such as ting a lings?

PEANUT BUTTER TING A LINGS

1 pkg. (6 oz.) butterscotch chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
4 c. corn flakes
1/2 c. salted peanuts
Combine butterscotch chips and peanut butter. Melt. (Microwave at 7 for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.) Add corn flakes (coarsely crushed) and peanuts. Stir until coated. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto wax paper. Chill until set.

No butterscotch pieces use chocolate chips. Can substitute chowmein noodles for corn flakes or other sturdy cereal.
Have fun and come up with your own version.....whatever you do will be yummy!

I have this awsome recipe

1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg

preheat over to 325 degrees. Mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
refrigerate for 30 minutes. take out and roll into small balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet. flatten each ball with criss-cross pattern with a fork.
Bake for 18-20 min. or until slightly brown.

I made these for my lil girls class and the kids loved them.
sence you dont have a egg you can go to your neighbors and borrow one from them.

let me get this straight, you can obviously afford internet costs, take your butt down to the local supermarket and buy some eggs and baking soda and then you shall have your peanut butter cookies.
