It tastes amazing but it doesn not taste like a pasta. It will taste like a veggie...cuz it is! But do it & you will love it!!!

Never tried a zucchini, but I love Spaghetti squash as a replacement for pasta. Just cut in half, season and microwave. The squash meat pulls out of the shell like pasta.

I don't see why you couldn't do so, but just a warning, zucchini tends to get sort of watery. You'd be better off cooking spaghetti squash which when cooked is stringy inside and more like a pasta consistency. It is delicious prepared used a typical spaghetti sauce or simply spices, butter and parm. cheese. It would also be much less work.

I have had dishes like this, they are pretty good. If you want a really interesting similar dish, get "spaghetti squash" and some sauce. You will be amazed at how similar it is to spaghetti, and you don't have to cut it. It's natural consistency is like spaghetti.
