Does anybody know of a Biblical story about going against authority to get what one wants with the help of God? The only one I can think of is Moses and the Pharoah...does anyone know of any other ones?

The faithful worshippers of the one true God still have to obey the laws of the land where they reside (if the laws do not conflict with God's laws). In the ancient time under Babylonian law Daniel’s three companions were thrown into a fiery furnace for refusing to obey the king’s command to bound down to the golden statue. Decades later, Daniel was thrown into a pit of lions for refusing to obey a Persian law (prohibiting anyone to pray to his God for a month) that violated his conscience. (Daniel 3:3-18; 6:6-17) All four of them were rescued by God.

The account of Jesus' apostles, they didn't submit themselves to human authority either.

Acts 5:27-29  "So they brought them and stood them in the San′he·drin hall. And the high priest questioned them 28 and said: “We positively ordered YOU not to keep teaching upon the basis of this name, and yet, look! YOU have filled Jerusalem with YOUR teaching, and YOU are determined to bring the blood of this man upon us.” 29 In answer Peter and the [other] apostles said: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men."

Moses did not "go against authority to get what he wanted". In fact, he even asked God multiple times not to send him because he didnt want to go. God chose Moses to do his work for him. God wanted the slaves freed, not Moses.

The bible states many many times that we are to obey all authority unless they ask us to do something against the will of God. For example - God would never be ok with us raping/murdering/stealing because someone of authority told us to. Jesus said "Give Caesar what is Caesars, and God what is Gods"

In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah two very sinful cities. God sent three men to go and see if the outcry from these 2 cities were as bad as the outcry which had reached Him(God). Abraham spoke boldly to the representatives of the Lord and asked if will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? He was bold 5 times. It was on behalf of his nephew Lot and his family that he spoke up. The story ends with Lot and his 2 daughters being saved, Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed and Lot's wife being turned into a pillar of salt.

Peace!
Most of the prophets opposed the authorities during their time. But no one can equal Jesus Christ's opposition. Matthew alludes to him as the new Moses in his gospel.

The whole idea of religion and christianity is submission of many by a few. That is why the Bible is not going to help you with your odd request .
