There are several possible reasons as others have said...if his "you know what" is thick and since this is your first time you are still tight in that area that could be the reason. Wait until the pain goes away to try again. Also you might want to check with your gyno just to make sure you don't have any medical reasons that it was painful such as cysts (fairly common) or your body doesn't produce enough natural lubricant in which case you can buy a lube (some of which are made to enhance the experience). My guess though would be the mix of it being your first time and that he is large in which case being gentle, using lube and time will help. Soak in a nice hot bath and take it easy for a couple of days and it should help.

the pain will go away in a day or two, and it won't hurt anymore. If it was your first time ever, there is a small patch of skin inside you that was torn, that is what hurt so bad. It shouldn't hurt after the first time, hope that helps.

Next time you do it, make sure you have lube handy....It makes it much easier for both of you...and it should be less painful the more you do it...I don't know what to tell you for you're current pain...try a hot bath that might make you relax and feel a little better.

lord child - pain killa dont cure the "put-it-on-ya-syndrome" honey if it was ya first time you have to become a custom to your mans private area. you both just have to be gentle with each other and always tell him what you like. you have to guide him and tell him what your feeling or he will assume you like this. Soak is some hot water and try try again.

Soak in a warm bath. This will help soothe you (down there) If the problem persists, call your Dr. and desrcibe the situation. She may tell you there's no need to come in or she may advise a check up.

Soak in the tub but pain killers will not work. It will become less painful as time goes on.

Practice makes perfect. What you're experiencing is perfectly normal. Just make sure to have some extra lubricaction in addition to your own naturaal juices. You'll be OK.
