You've been gone for about three weeks on the other side of the world with no direct contact. Would you be saying this out of niceness or would you seriously be happy to hear the girls voice?

Ah, it's good to hear your voice. I find a sense of relief from my daily routine. I am consoled by the ability to know that your voice is what gives me solice and comforts from that about me which is so chaos and turmoiled. My spirit is lifted when I know it's you that I can turn to by sharing a few moments of talking. How weary life is until you enter my realm of thoughts and happiness.

they're not bad. i can't remember the others i've heard. but sometimes they go a bit overboard because you can't escape the situation when asking stuff you know? like #4..you gotta ask if a dish is good because some meals suck and its good to get their opinion. but i did like number 5! and as for the stupid question thing i like the "Can I ask you a question?' one.

That depends on what type of person this guy is, and what you're relationship is. Normally it means he/she misses you. There are a lot of people I haven't talked to for a while, I'm polite, but if I didn't miss them I would not tell them that.That would be lying which would be rude. So yah, that's what it means babe. when someones says they miss your voice it really means all the positive things that they relate to you is represented by your voice
people associate memories with smell touch and sound so the sound of your voice brings back good memories

It means he missed you, plain and simple. He might like you, or he might just think of you as a friend. Either way, what he said isn't literal, I don't think, it just means, "I'm glad you're back, I missed you"
